They have worked hard, and it definitely has paid
off. They finished up the season with the only winning record of 7-6.
This season had a very intense ending, as the
winner of Gladiators was decided not in the middle or towards the end of the
season, but at the FINAL game. John n Friends clutched the Squares 2 Assassin
tournament and then beat Team Majin Buu in Fister to obtain a league-high 17
points!
Congratulations to Drue for winning Gladiators
MVP! He played outstanding every game and was a true threat to every opponenet.
Make sure to visit the Gladiators website next
week, as the Hall of Fame will be finished then. We have a lot of interesting
statistics to display!
Lastly, I just wanted to thank everyone for coming
out and supporting Gladiators. Its definitely awesome when 25+ players show up
to Gladiator Saturday night games. I think its awesome and we as a community
proved that with creativity and hard work, we can reach anywhere. We have
proved that SPLGO is not the only competitive league. I honestly had a terrific
time with Gladiators and I can't wait for another season. Thank you CTA staff
for helping me out. You guys did great.
P.S. Team Tyrants will come back for vengeance.
