New MRP System!

Hello Sparkers!

CTA is proud to present you with the new MRP System! We have changed the name to Most Recognized Player for clarity. This system will replace our old MVP system, and will allow us to accurately pick the most dominant player(s). Our goal with this new system is to still keep the effective competition required to get the award from our old system, but also to clarify the award a bit more and to be able to distribute it multiple people.

Features / Benefits:

- Ability to distribute it to more than one person.

- Ability to not distribute one at all.

This system will be in effect starting Saturday November 12th, 2011. We hope you enjoy!

CTA Icons

As we all know, Odoacer and Turbo have been working very hard on our current Icon System. To improve our current Icon system, they've made a few changes to the Weekly CTA Icon Tournament Icons.

From now on, we will only be able to use the icons 555-558, players will no longer have a preferable Icon choice after an Icon match.

These icons are the four gem icons:

The idea is to cycle through them, a different one each week. For example, the Green Gem Tourney one week, the Red Gem Tourney the following week, and so on. A green gem will only be removed from previous winners as the next Green Gem Tourney gets played; likewise for the other colors. This way it's possible to hold all four at the same time.

Although this takes away your privilege of selecting your own Icon, it also gives you the opportunity of obtaining more than one.
